Majoon always seeks every opportunity to help people in many aspects, provides services for people in fence-line communities. One of these projects is establishing new Iraqi National Identification Card in Dayer. As part of government plan to digitalize and unify the official identity documents for all people, it has initiated new program to issue Iraqi IDs in Iraq wide. However, the centers of issuing such ID are only in the center of Basra in which the local people close the field have to afford 90 km journey only to apply for new ID then to wait his turn after a month or so. In order to help locals, close to the field and support the government in its efforts for this strategic operation, Majnoon has built new compound in the area close to the field. Fully equipped with latest technologies and large waiting rooms for applicants, this center has shortened the journey from 90km to only 5 km, and even can be reached on feet. In addition to above, the new compound has expediated the process of issuing the ID from 30 days to only 3-4 working days. Currently, the compound receives hundreds of people from fence line communities and work in its full capacities, hence even lessen the human pressure on other compounds in the center of Basra and make the process of issuing new National ID more convenient.
